About art work
This work was written for a gift - to a person at that time, as it seemed to the artist, who would help organize her first solo exhibition. But alas, the artist did without his help, and the work is now pleasing to the eye of other people.
The artist used flowers in this picture to personalize and also mark her handwriting. Therefore, a man is shown holding a rose in his hand and holding its tip in his mouth. In the midst of a rose garden.
This was not the last work in the collection that was planned, but it was the last one completed. Due to circumstances, Marta had to leave for another city.
This portrait was the first portrait painted by the artist, apart from a self-portrait. Marta experimented with technique and shades. It was the first time she was not afraid of making strokes on her face and not smoothing it out. She decided to play with colors and let her imagination run wild. And in the end, the portrait turned out to be an exact copy of a person. This portrait has a special feature - wherever you are, it always looks at the viewer.
