About art work
‘Girl in Red’ and ‘Bags’ - the very first acquaintance with oil paints. Which were lying around at home and were old, belonged to her father.
When Marta opened them, they were a bit dry, and she realized that they needed to be bred with something, but she didn’t know what. Getting to the art salon, she began to ask what and how. At that time, the artist did not have a very large budget, and on the recommendation of the seller, she took the drying oil. (Marta quotes: "Now it's funny to me, but I didn't know how it worked. But now I know it's not enough. "). Having mixed those oils and drying oil at home, she cut off the cardboard from under the Avon boxes and wrote two works in one fell swoop. The inspiration was the magazines that lay nearby. There were advertisements with bags in them, and there was also a photograph of a girl in a red dress. They dried for a long time, perhaps more than a year. And in 2011 they were varnished and framed in baguettes.
The love and study of this art form, oil painting, started that way.
